I just don’t know anymore
I scream louder and louder
And I run faster and faster
But I just can’t seem to get away

I have so many problems with
The way things are run in my life
But nothing I do can be fixed
Because I’m not in charge of it

I try to be a better person
I learn to love through one
Of the most loving people
A guy like me could ask for

I am just not cut out to be
What other people want me
To be; So I work hard to be
What I want me to be

The girl I love is the best
Thing a horrible person like
Me could ever ask for in life
And I’m not good enough for her

I wish to join the ranks of the betters
Be what she wants me to be
But my mind tells me I’m not good enough
For all the greatness and the glory of God

But I want to be saved so I
Can stop screaming
And stop running
And stop going

Am I really good enough for that?
Do I really deserve the glory?
Can I ever be good enough for Him?
Will I ever be saved?
